MRSA

A type of bacteria that is resistant to certain antibiotics, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is making its way into communities, including schools, Universities and the workplace.

It is important that University students, faculty and staff be knowledgeable about this potential health risk and effectively address the issues in our community.

Factual information on this topic, including effective ways to minimize the risks associated with these organisms may be found in the following references.
